UDL

Universal Design for Learning

OVERVIEW

As an 8th-grade science teacher, I've always had a desire to create a learning environment that promoted student engagement and collaboration. Through developing and implementing hands-on labs, challenge/problem-based learning, and student choice, I'm pleased with the progress of our 8th-grade curriculum. However, there is always more to be learned. Becoming a better educator goes hand in hand with developing new skills and experimenting with best teaching practices. Having this mindset, I'm excited to bring what I've learned about UDL (Universal Design for Learning) into my repertoire as an educator. This section of my website is dedicated to sharing new resources and tools that I found while studying UDL. Having this collection of UDL resources will allow me to focus on meeting the needs of all students.
